Alister in Wonderland (Genderbent Fairytales Collection, Book 3) by KuroKoneko Kamen and narrated by L. A. Johnson

Alister in Wonderland (Genderbent Fairytales Collection, Book 3) is a fun, modern take on a classic (it's a classic now right?). I recommend if you are not a fan of the typical fairytales and enjoy an adult spin on them.

Where to purchase:

KuroKoneko Kamen puts a fun, adult spin on the classic with her Alister in Wonderland (Genderbent Fairytales Collection, Book 3). If you are not a fan of the typical classics/fairytales like me, this is the book for you. I found I never quite knew what to expect and didn’t want to put it down.

The summary does a great job at giving the gist of the story and I won’t say anything else due to spoilers.

At first I had mixed feeling on the narrator, L. A. Johnson, but as I listened the voices grew on me. Some of the them however were just not for me. It seems as the story advanced, the narration became smoother.

Would I check out another story by KuroKoneko Kamen? Absolutely. Would I check out another by L. A. Johnson? Probably. Overall I’d recommend giving this book a shot.

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: This is a story for adults and adult who don't mind a adult situations.

*I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you for allowing me to listen and review the book!
