Mail Horror Bride (One Nation Under Zombies, Book 1) by Raymond Lee and narrated by Mark Westfield is an interesting take on zombies. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new Z adventure.

Russia has found a way to infect mail-order brides with a virus that turns the brides, their husbands, and their children into zombies. From there, chaos ensues. The story is told through different characters (various ages) with some of the stories intertwining. It’s difficult to pick a favorite as they each bring something unique to the book. You may find yourself rooting for some of them to be taken out by the Z's or others in their group. And
for those who dislike cliffhangers, be aware it ends in one (I’m OK
with it and you should be too because it is a great book).
The narrator, Mark Westfield, did a good job overall. A couple times the transitions were a little rough/confusing. I would listen to him again.
The book went by fast and before I knew it, it was over (good thing). I didn’t quite know what to expect (also a good thing). I would check out book two in a heart beat and recommend this if you are a fan of zombies, character driven books, or looking for something new in the fantasy genre.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: This is a book for adults who like a little darker themes. Death, guns, domestic violence (plays a large role for one character in the first half of the book), one character has a severe hatred for mail order brides (calls them sluts, whore, skank, and so on), some religious talk, and psychopathic tendencies in a couple characters.
